Team
edeq‘s founder is the bridge between education philosophy and its business plan, a Doctor of Education and a Master of Finance. As a Doctor of Education, he has built, grown, and led award-winning premium schools, guiding each toward its own unique excellence. As a Master of Finance, he wrote the research thesis that makes the case for private K-12 education as an asset class in its own right. edeq’s approach draws on both: an education philosophy grounded in practice, and an investment strategy grounded in research.
Around the founder is a team whose expertise spans every element of building a school group: the investment and fund-management experience to scale and exit businesses across private equity, and the legal and operational discipline to acquire, build, and integrate schools. Beneath the partners, edeq runs a matrix leadership structure, with specialist functions including education technology, safeguarding, and educational psychology provided as fractional specialisms embedded within each school. Together the team is optimised for maximising value across the entire investment, growth, and exit horizon.
